    As a Project Engineer you will:

    • Review project proposals and plans to determine time lines, funding requirements and procedures to accomplish the project
    • Communicate with several different departments to provide technical advice and problem solve
    • Communicate with suppliers, negotiate costs and coordinate delivery of components
    • Assist with documents control for each project (ex: manuals, parts list, drawings)
    • Work to maintain the technical information database for product groups
    • Assist customers with technical aspects of machine repair via phone support
    • Communicate and problem solve with Applications Engineers supporting customers in the field
    • Perform electrical and mechanical engineering functions to configure turnkey systems
    • Resolve open issues on projects through receipt of final payment
    • Research new materials and supplies to assist in developing procedures to reduce costs and improve quality





    To be considered for this role you must:

    • Have an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and three to seven years related experience and/or technical certification with related job experience
    • Have a basic to intermediate knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, CNC controls (PLC, NC Programming)
    • Demonstrate the ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints
    • Have Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic-intermediate knowledge of E-Plan and AutoCAD
    • Proven experience working in customer relations with a focus on solving customer problems


    Preferred Qualifications (Certificates, Training, Licenses, and Experience):

    • Have the ability to conduct business in the German language


    Other (Supervisory Responsibilities, Physical Demands, Travel):

    • This position requires occasional overnight domestic and international travel – approximately 25%.
    • The position requires the employee to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
